easy cheddar-swiss fondue
Start to Finish: 30 minutes
Serves: 10
Ingredients:
1 package Farm Rich® Onion Petals or Farm Rich® Mushrooms
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup flour
1/2 cup half-and-half
2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
2 cups Swiss cheese, shredded
1/4 cup dry white wine
1 pinch seasoned salt
Preparation:
PREPARE Onion Petals or Mushrooms according to package directions.
SAUTÉ flour in butter until it has a nutty smell. Add half-and-half. Heat in a medium saucepan until simmering but not boiling (about 7 minutes). Reduce heat to maintain temperature.
ADD the remaining ingredients and cook until smooth and creamy. Transfer to fondue pot and serve with Onion Petals or Mushrooms.
